Beginning Essay Writing.

授業の目標（講義概要）

Students will learn the basics of essay composition by drafting three essays.

授業計画

Students will write and draft three essays in three distinct styles: narrative, descriptive, and expository. Each student should expect to write four to five drafts of each essay. In addition, proofreading skills will be emphasized. Students will also be introduced to basic documentation formats for books and essays.

評価方法

Essays are graded on form and content. Peer proofreading is also graded. Each student will be given an evaluation sheet which lists a maximum of 100 possible points.
